Just thought we’d let you know about some recent workshops we delivered in Horsham helping managers and senior leaders with updates on changes in Equality Legislation since 2010 and conducting effective Equality Impact Assessments.

Now, nobody likes doing these, but the government views them as a crucial tool to demonstrate ‘due regard’ to the Public Sector Equality Duty.

While there, we can also update your senior managers on the latest legal requirements under acts such as the Worker Protection Act 2023 and those in the pipeline so that you can be well ahead of the game. Our workshop starts with a ‘guess the payout’ quiz to remind ourselves what can happen when organisations fall foul of recent rulings.

Our workshop takes managers through the process of completing an Equality Impact Assessment for any existing or new policies or services and shares tips, hints, and shortcuts! One delegate even said that it was ‘fun’!

Anyway, maybe your managers don’t need a nudge or hand holding …but if they do, you know where to find us!

These are usually 2 ½ to 3-hour workshops for up to 25 managers.

Don’t take our word for it …

Below is just a small slice of the feedback we got from our recent workshops in Horsham.
